Nunhead Cemetery

Katherine worked on Nunhead's chapel when she was employed by StoneWest LTD. Carving arch stones detailed with crockets, ornate finials and various masonry repairs in Bath stone. She also carved a wreath and an obelix in Portland stone for the cemetery's tombstones and surrounds. 

Nunhead cemetery is London's 2nd largest Victorian cemetery and is home to a beautiful anglican chapel designed by Thomas Little.

Katherine was asked to demonstrate her carving skills with the public at Nunhead cemetery's open day, unveiled by the local Mayor.
